YREPNY 9th Anniversary Networking Event--Wed. Aug. 25, 2010
The YREPNY 9th Anniversary Networking Event will be held on Wednesday,
August 25, 2010 from 6:30pm to 9:30pm.
The location will be M1-5 which is located at 52 Walker Street between
Church and Broadway. The venue is just two blocks away from the
following subway lines: A/C/E/N/R/6 (Canal Street station)
The event will also be a fundraiser. We will be raising money to buy
toys for the Children's Hospital at Montefiore in The Bronx. Suggested
minimum donation: $5

We are looking forward to seeing you on August 25th to celebrate
YREPNY's 9th Anniversary as well as to raise money to buy toys for The
Children's Hospital at Montefiore.

in The Bronx:
Opened in 2001, The Children's Hospital at Montefiore provides
state-of-the-art healthcare in a family-centered facility, with many
distinctive features that provide a total healing environment. On any
given day, more than 130 children, infants to 21-years-old, who are
fighting critical childhood illnesses, such as AIDS, cancer, sickle
cell disease, heart and kidney disease, are being cared for here. In
addition, several hundred more pediatric patients, infants to
21-years-old, are being care for as outpatients. Some of our
outstanding services at The Children's Hospital include the Divisions
of Pediatric Hematology-Oncology, Pediatric Cardiology and
Cardio-thoracic Surgery, Pediatric Emergency
Medicine, the Center for Caniofacial Disorders and our Child Advocacy
Center. The Children's Hospital at Montefiore has been ranked as one
of the top 30 children's hospitals by the U.S. News & World Report.
The toys will be used to support the child life program which provides
playrooms and bedside activities to help normalize the environment for
the patients.
