Duties & Responsibilities

This position is designed for rapid development in the Asset Management department. Transaction Officers are immediately given responsibility related to a rapidly expanding real estate portfolio. The mission of the experienced team of 15 professionals is to create value in a 100 million square foot portfolio consisting of 850 properties, while mitigating risk and enhancing investor returns. The global portfolio includes industrial, office, manufacturing, retail and hospitality properties in the United States, Europe and Asia. Primary portfolio management responsibilities include detailed credit analysis, contract negotiation, lease restructuring, property repositioning, asset sales, management non-performing assets, and debt financing. In addition, Asset Management Transaction Officers are the primary point of contact for portfolio tenants in all aspects of the business relationship.


Qualifications

Successful candidates will have sought out diverse work and extracurricular experiences that demonstrate their ability to adapt and succeed in a broad range of challenges. Desired traits include analytical ability, intellectual curiosity, creativity, problem solving capability, strong communication skills, and proven leadership. Applicants should have an interest in Real Estate and 1-3 years work experience in real estate, investment banking, consulting or other financial services industry. MBA's are a plus although not required. The ideal candidate is someone who is a natural self-starter, who is willing to jump in and learn in the context of a fast-paced work environment. The Firm's significant portfolio size, paired with the limited number of professionals managing the assets, provides a unique opportunity to gain significant experience quickly.
