Fall Internship Position

This hundred million dollar private equity firm targets and acquires distressed commercial mortgages.

JOB DESCRIPTION:
The firm is seeking a Fall semester intern to help support its fundamental analysis and general due diligence activities related to distressed mortgage acquisitions. The intern will be responsible for:
• Market Research
• Financial modeling
• Due diligence
• Valuation analysis
• Idea generation
• Document Organization (stapling AND filing)
• Fetching food and beverages, and running personal errands for the principals
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
• Minimum commitment of 15 hrs per week.
• Demonstrated interest in fundamental investing and the real estate industry.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• High integrity and an extremely strong work ethic.
• An excellent academic record.
• The ability to process, understand and retain business and financial concepts.
• Humility.
COMPENSATION:
Education is its own reward. In addition, you will receive access to the principals, deals, contacts, the industry and school credits, if available to you. A strong recommendation letter and being your employment reference post-internship is commensurate with your performance. Start date is immediate.
