Strategic Capital Solutions operates out of its three offices in New York, London and Los Angeles. SCS is a specialized real estate investment firm that offers value-added bridge, mezzanine and equity financing.
Target Transactions Include: Secured Whole Commercial Mortgages, Secured Mezzanine Loans and B-Notes, Sale-Leaseback, Direct Investments, Debtor-in-Possession Financings, Note Purchases, Refinancings, Restructurings, Workouts and Recapitalizations, Acquisition and Working Capital Financings.
SCS invests globally in all asset classes. Transactions typically are between $5 million and $70 million; however, we are well-positioned to complete larger transactions. SCS targets 15-22% gross unlevered IRR over terms of 1-5 years.

Commercial Real Estate Underwriter/Analyst
We are seeking an above average candidate to join our team on a trial basis for a 60 day underwriting assignment including, but not limited to a $500 million dollar loan portfolio acquisition. Depending on performance, a full-time permanent position may be available.
The following are the candidate requirements for the commercial loan underwriter position:
• A college BA or BS degree in any subject. MBA or Masters in real estate preferred.
• Prior work experience underwriting commercial real estate loans or note acquisitions such as the CMBS department of an investment bank, the commercial loan department of a bank or with a private equity or real estate investment firm.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Experience preparing investment summaries for real estate acquisitions or commercial loan originations, or other written material demonstrating the ability to research, analyze and present a proposal for a real estate investment or commercial mortgage origination.
• Excellent computer skills
• Extensive experience with Microsoft excel based loan underwriting models preferred
