Acquisitions Analyst/Property Management Intern
Silverstone is looking for an energetic, go getter to expand our Property Management business and find new opportunities to expand our Multifamily Real Estate Portfolio. This dual-role intern will work closely with our Property Management and Acquisition Team, while gaining a firsthand look at two major aspects of Real Estate.
In support of Silverstone's Acquisition Analyst Team, the intern will search for new buildings that fit our Acquisition Criteria. Silverstone's Acquisition Team is currently focused on multifamily properties in Manhattan with a deal size up to $30M. During the internship period, the candidate will work with the team to find new deals, as well as learn how to size potential acquisitions.
In support of the Property Management Team, the intern will look for new buildings for Silverstone Property Group to property manage. In this role, the intern will learn what a property manager does, gaining experience in everything from book keeping and Yardi management software, to dealing with property management issues. The property management intern will work to develop new business by finding buildings for the company to manage.

Hours/Compensation
Silverstone Property Group is flexible with when and how much you work, but are looking for people that want to be here. Although interns are not paid hourly, the position offers a very big upside in terms of compensation if you do well. Not only is a fulltime job a possibility, but any property you find that we acquire as a direct result of your work, or any new property management contract we sign as a directly result of your work, we will compensate you with a % of the acquisition cost or income generated.
Qualifications
Previous experience in Real Estate or a Real Estate related field in NOT required, however preference will be given to those who have a track record in the business or in sales. Experience in any of the following areas is a plus: real estate sales, lending and/or banking, Property Management, Finance, or any sales related business.
