Internship, Commercial Real Estate Credit
PB Capital, an active commercial real estate lender based in New York City, is seeking to hire an intern in its Commercial Real Estate Credit Group. The primary responsibility of the Group is to evaluate deal risk and provide credit quality opinions of new loans as well as assist in the portfolio management of existing loans.

Duties and Responsibilities:
• Provide general administrative support of various Real Estate Credit activities including compliance, financial statement review, maintenance of current credit files and testing compliance with financial covenants. Actively communicate all material account developments to Credit Officers and the Chief Credit Officer.
• Assist Credit Officers in updating various portfolio management reports (i.e.: Condo Construction Report, Stress Test Report)
• Assist Junior and Senior Credit Officers in managing the loan portfolio including completing annual credit reviews, loan increases and restructurings. Work with Junior and Senior Credit Officers in structuring and underwriting transactions.
• Help prepare credit applications for approval; ensure proper due diligence required in loan approvals; assist in coordinating loan closings.
Position Requirements:
• Excellent analytical skills as well as oral and written communication skills.
• Must be team oriented and maintain open communication with fellow credit officers, originators, and management.
• Ability to manage own time and demonstrate some flexibility in work schedule.
• Proficiency in Excel and Word. Argus experience preferred but not required.
• Candidate for Bachelors degree, preferably with a concentration in finance, accounting, or real estate.
