Job Posting Summary:
We're putting a summary first because we know how many of these things you are going to have to read. Simply put, don't waste your time going further unless you can directly relate to the following sentence.

Bisnow hires extremely intelligent people with a ridiculously strong work ethic and positive mental attitude. Bisnow employees love their job more than anything else in the world.

About Bisnow
There are three media moguls on the rise - Twitter, Bisnow and Facebook (and we've never even heard of two of them).

In one sentence, we are the largest source of Commercial Real Estate News in the United States of America. To make a long story short, Bisnow is an online publisher of twenty-seven business newsletters in 18 different markets (Nationally, Atlanta, Austin, Baltimore, Boston, Charlotte, Chicago, Dallas-Fort Worth, Houston, Los Angeles, New Jersey, New York City, Philadelphia, San Antonio, San Francisco, Seattle, South Florida, and Washington, DC), but we don't do it like those other media companies do with pages upon pages of self-righteous journalism - We are fun! We are snappy! We are informative! We are colorful, entertaining, picture-heavy yet fluff-free. We cover business news (commercial real estate, legal, association & non-profit and many more) in a way that no other company has before. Not to mention we also have the best events with beverages, pastries and CEOs galore.
Our shtick is working for us, and it shows! People actually read our newsletters (don't ask me how we know, we just do).
So, think of us as a People Magazine for the professional set, or perhaps, Perez without profanity. (You're right, in our dreams.)

Why should you join team Bisnow?

Why?! You need more? Well okay, we started in Washington, DC, five years ago and are growing so rapidly that last year's team was made up of 20 employees and this year it's over 80. Due to scientific factors too numerous to enumerate, we estimate our circulation is up to over 360,000 subscribers. Still not enough? Employees in our office work around a ping pong table, our mascot is a Shiba Inu (who runs rampant about the office), and if so inclined you can work a full day from the "HR Room" which is a few couches and a TV.
The Bisnow motto is this: we work hard and play hard and every single one of us absolutely LOVES our job. Consider us a young Google, except more fun, and better (No offense to Google).

Overview

This is the first job you'll ever have where you're doing more than just a job. You'll be single handedly responsible for the growth of the company - something we are most proud of. This is not for someone who wants to sit behind a desk and spend hours of the day color-coding a spreadsheet. This is for someone who wants to be a franchise owner, and be the face of Bisnow in Boston. You'll soon have a team of people working underneath you, you'll soon be closing million dollar deals every week by yourself and not handing it off to the guys who have been there for thirty years, you'll even sooner be the Bisnow Boston contact that everyone who is anyone will be begging to sit down for drinks with - but not without 14 hour days and living and breathing Bisnow.

The activities you'll have the privilege of performing (Or what other boring companies call "Responsibilities")

•	Attend the biggest and best events in the local commercial real estate community in order to schmooze and network the heck out of professionals in the Boston area.
•	Cold calling billion dollar companies without hesitation and convincing them (nay, making them realize) they need to take a meeting with the Boston Bisnow Head of Business Development.
•	Be an entrepreneur.
•	Own the Bisnow brand and build brand awareness in the Greater Boston Area.
•	Build an office around you and your above-average initiatives.
Our primary objective is to hire intelligent, fun, hard-working people, but here's an easy-to-ready bulleted list with stuff we're looking for in a candidate (Or what other boring companies call "Qualifications"):
•	You have a college degree with a cumulative GPA of at least 3.0 (to be backed up by a transcript)
•	You have at least 3 years of sales experience and have excelled in knowing how to handle objections, how to research prospects, and how to set meetings & close.
•	You are looking to join a company that is more fun, grows quicker, provides more opportunity for promotion, pays more for results and is willing to invest substantially in growing your skill set.
•	You want to get stuck into and aid the growth of a start-up company that is headed for greatness.
•	You're an inspiration to everyone around you (just kidding, but seriously, you should be delightful).
•	You should love learning, here at Bisnow we have a steep learning curve - we're always learning new business strategies, new selling strategies, new marketing strategies - you should want to learn and bring different opinions to the table as well.
•	Excellent follow up and documentation skills

If outside sales isn't your thing, but you know of someone that could be a good fit, we pay a 1K referral fee for anyone that's hired. Thanks!!!
